Think about what it is you do in every day. Make a list of as MANY as POSSIBLE.
List those things, it could be simple as (wake up/stretch, drink orange juice).
Then think about how adjusting the order of these things could benefit you (either through saved time, less distance travelled, etc.). This can take some time, so plan for at least 10 minutes to focus on this exercise.
Sort each of these tasks into a singular GOAL heading.
Create a calendar (whether physical or Google), that shows your daily/weekly/biweekly/monthly/yearly..third Monday of.. etc. :) … and then add a specific time for each on of these tasks.
Now, obviously, we are not robots. We are human. Though if we strive to match a specific schedule based on Goals, rather than Tasks, our entire days can feel more satisfying and productive.
Examples of elements to add to your routine may include time you set aside for yourself in the morning to wake up properly, stretch, meditate and set your goals for the day. Whether that means waking up and having a cup of coffee on your back porch or going to a yoga class up the block, this will mean something different for you.
Restructuring your days to match your specific goals and factoring in self care, will surely improve your life satisfaction and feelings of fulfilment.
Try this out and let me know what difference it has made for you.
